Browser storage — what and for how long
1. Functional preferences only
We do not run analytics or advertising tools. The bottom notice provides information, not marketing consent. Cookies and browser storage remember requested features. Necessary storage falls under the exception in Article 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law. Optional tracking would require a separate consent mechanism before activation.
2. Selected language
The wood-home-language cookie stores PL, EN or DE for up to 365 days after it is set. It is set when you choose a language or visit an address with a lang parameter. It contains no contact details. The old localStorage entry wood-home-language:v1 is migrated once to a cookie and removed.
3. Notice acknowledgement
The localStorage entry wood-home-privacy-notice:v2 remembers dismissal of the notice for 180 days. Expiry is checked when you open the website and expired entries are removed. It does not identify you across websites. The older wood-home-cookie-choice entry is removed when the new notice opens.
4. Administration panel
After CMS login, the payload-token cookie maintains a session for up to 8 hours; session renewal may restart that period. The payload-theme cookie remembers the panel appearance for up to a year. The editor-width localStorage entry woodhome:page-builder-preview-width:v1 remains until deleted. These are functions for authorised editors, not visitor tracking.
5. Clearing preferences
The button below clears the saved language and notice acknowledgement, without deleting downloads or signing you out of the CMS. You can clear all site data, including panel preferences, in your browser. Blocking storage does not prevent reading our services; your language may not be remembered and the notice may appear again. The language in the current URL remains active.
